A great stay - recommended. For a reasonable price, we got a room that is very clean with crisp linens, a comforter that is warm but not cumbersome and a bed that didn't require a ladder to get onto! There's a nice lake view steps away (photo). Orillia's dock and eateries are a very short drive away. So is beautiful Casino Rama. This a a bare-bones place that is great for a one-night stay, maybe two. The bathroom doesn't have any counter or shelf to put toiletries out during your stay, nor is there an iron. No closet but lots of hooks for hanging clothes (and a chest of drawers). There are a couple of little things that could use a bit of TLC, but none of them affected our stay in a negative way. The owner and staff are very pleasant. Bonus: Swans in the lake! Beautiful.
We were in room 'C1' behind the main building. The room was extremely clean. Very quiet. The only suggestion we would have would be to have more area lighting. The bulb in the motion detector for C1 was not working. Next door C2 light was. The night we stayed it was very dark and raining. Great place, we will be back.
We just wanted an economical room for one night close to Casinorama. We weren't expecting luxury, but this place is really nice. It is only an 8 min drive from Casinorama. Beautiful lake view. Microwave, fridge and freezer in the room. The bed was comfy. Fellow at the front desk was very pleasant. We will definitely try to get in here again the next time we are going to concert. Also thinking of coming back for a summer weekend getaway. There is a beach just across the road.
This is a very nice Inn & I used their Airbnb portion of the Inn. It is located in a quiet area but an accessible location to the city of Orillia. The room was clean & very spacious with a few amenities. Since the organization I was visiting provided measl each day, I didn't require much more than a bed & shower. If you're looking for an inexpensive weekend get away with an awesome view, I would recommend the Lakeshore Inn.
We stayed hear last night had a wonderful stay. We came to ice fish across the road and it was a great location. Beds are comfy and check in was easy. Staff is great and very friendly. We felt right at home hear.
What a find! Great location - right across from the water and also a lovely beach. Fabulous sunsets! The room I was in, Cabin 8, was totally renovated and really nice - with a proper mini fridge that had a freezer you could actually use. Very clean too, and what a great price. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Definitely will return!
